Old age isn’t easy, but it can bring heartwarming responses such as the kindness and love Diana depicts in her newest book, about the frustrations, celebrations and mistakes she and her siblings made during the last years of their parents’ lives. There is humor, too, as Diana looks at her own aging process.
Rev. Landale will reflect on sacred places in our lives – in nature, literature, and even those we co-create, using his own experiences.
Our beloved part-time clergy will reflect on what it has meant to them to lead and serve UUGP, and envision their roles moving forward. We’ll cheer Byron’s designation as our Minister Emeritus, and continue celebrating their retirement with them after the service.

Recycling has long been an easy way to lessen our impact on the environment, but the current recycling crisis needs us to do more. SOS staff will tell us about what is on the horizon for Josephine County. Karen Rogers will tell us how we can avoid using disposable plastic.
