These are some of the mantras, if you will, and covenantal language we embrace to express our UU commitment to moving from a foundation of alove, working for equality, and seeing environmental justice as a core issue of human rights. An Amazing Time in America

Marge Piercy’s poem, To Be of Use, ends with the line, “The pitcher cries for water to carry and a person for work that is real.” I am hope-filled by the seismic wave of work being done to create a more just world. Fourth of July, 2020, in the midst of pandemic, farcical leadership, streets filled with people, Siberia melting, species extinction and unidentified flying objects, come, let me tell you why I think it is a great time to be alive. This I believe.
